Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Dukkan ("Dukkan", "we", "us", or "our") provides a platform that lets sellers build online stores for their Instagram businesses and manage orders through the Dukkan dashboard at dashboard.dukkan.app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website at dukkan.app and the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information — when you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely in hashed form).
- Store and product data — information you add to build your store, including product listings, images, descriptions, prices, and store settings.
- Customer and order data — when a customer places an order through your store, we collect the information needed to process that order, such as the customer's name, contact details, and order contents.
- Usage data — information about how you and your customers interact with the Service, such as page views, device/browser type, and approximate location, collected automatically through analytics.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process and route orders placed through your store
- Communicate with you about your account, orders, and updates to the Service
- Monitor and analyze usage to improve the Service
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or misuse
4. WhatsApp & Third-Party Services
A core feature of Dukkan is letting customers send order details to sellers via WhatsApp. When a customer chooses to do this, order information is transmitted to WhatsApp/Meta in accordance with WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, which are outside of our control.
We also rely on third-party infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare) to host and deliver the Service. These providers may process data on our behalf as necessary to provide their services to us.
5. Cookies
The Service uses a limited number of cookies that are necessary for it to function (for example, to keep you signed in). We do not currently use the Service for advertising or tracking cookies. A dedicated Cookie Policy with more detail will be published in the future.
6. Data Storage & Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You can review and update your account information at any time from your dashboard. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
10. Contact Us
